By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2.The case of the petitioner is that she is working as a staff nurse in the Government Thiruvarur Medical College Hospital since 17.09.2014. According to the petitioner, she is entitled to be promoted to the post of Nursing Superintendent Grade-II and her name was recommended by the second respondent. The first respondent while preparing the panel, left out her name and therefore, the petitioner made representations dated 28.12.2015 and 05.01.2016 respectively to the first respondent. Since no order has been passed by the first respondent, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.D.Gubendra Gunabalan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Narayanan, learned Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner would attain the age of superannuation on 30.04.2016 and the petitioner's juniors were already promoted as Nursing Superintendent Grade-II.

5.This Court, taking into consideration the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.12.2015 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner. 6.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
