O R D E R

The Petitioner has made a representation dated 30.05.2019 seeking to regularize the tenancy of the portion occupied by him at Old No.13, New No.8, Sannadhi Street, Kapaleeswarar Temple, Mylapore belonging to the Second Respondent/Temple. The Learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions, states that the said representation would be duly considered and would pass orders within a period of six weeks.

2. Recording the said submission, this Court without expressing any view on the correctness or entitlement of the claim of the Petitioner, directs the First Respondent to consider and pass reasoned orders on the representation dated 30.05.2019 made by the Petitioner on merits in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken to the Petitioner and file a compliance report before the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court by 22.07.2019.

3. The Learned Special Government Pleader further informs that till orders are passed on the representation, no coercive action would be taken against the Petitioner.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed on the aforesaid terms. Consequently the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. No costs.
