ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to seeking direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. On a complaint given by one Swaminathan that his daughter Keerthana eloped with the petitioner's son Rajesh, petition enquiry is pending. Under such circumstances, blanket order of 'not to harass' cannot be passed. The petitioner shall co-operate for the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, he https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

shall not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.

With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
