This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to register the case and investigate the same in pursuance of the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.19762 of 2024 on the file of the XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. On a perusal of the order dated 07.04.2025 in Crl.M.P.No.19762 of 2024, it is revealed that the learned XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai directed the first respondent to conduct a preliminary enquiry and, if any offences are disclosed, register the First Information Report. However, so far, the first respondent did not conduct the preliminary enquiry and also failed to register any First Information Report.

4. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to register 2/4

the First Information Report, as directed by the learned XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.19762 of 2024, and proceed with the investigation against the accused.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
