The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus, to direct the respondent to disburse the difference sum of interest paid towards the belated disbursement of the petitioner's commuted value of pension with further interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the said date of entitlement to till the date of actual payment.
2. The case of the petitioner is that he was working as Traffic Manager in the respondent corporation and he retired from service on 31.10.2019. Thereafter, he made a representation dated 27.03.2025 to the respondent seeking to disburse the difference sum of interest paid towards the belated disbursement of the petitioner's commuted value of pension along with interest at the rate of 6% per annum from the said date of entitlement till the date of actual payment. Since, there was no response from the respondent, the petitioner filed the present writ petition.
3. At this juncture, the learned Counsel appearing for the respondent would fairly submit that he would consider the said representation of the petitioner within a reasonable time.

4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the said fair submission made by the learned Counsel, for the respondent, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 27.03.2025, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
