ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2. The petitioner's father passed away on 14.06.2019. Under these circumstances, the petitioner has approached the respondents for appointing him on compassionate ground. He https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has also sent representations dated 13.07.2020 and 26.07.2021. The petitioner has however rushed to the Court even before a response could be to the above representation of the petitioner. Be that as it may, the Government of Tamil Nadu has issued a consolidated Government Order in G.O.Ms.No.18, Labour and Employment (Q1) Department, dated 23.01.2020.

3. The respondents are therefore directed to consider the aforesaid Government Order and the representations of the petitioner dated 13.07.2020 and 26.07.2021 and pass appropriate orders. In case, the petitioner is otherwise eligible to be appointed on compassionate ground, the respondents shall appoint the petitioner without delay. The respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observation. No costs.
