Learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents has placed before this Court the instructions received by him on 14.11.2022. As per 1/4
the said instructions, it is clear that the petitioner is presently working in Walajah block, which is 48 kms away from his place of residence, whereas, the place of transfer under the impugned order is only 3 to 7 kms away from the petitioner's residence.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that due to his mother's serious illness, he does not want any promotion to the post of Block Development Officer. A copy of the instructions dated 14.11.2022 received from the District Collector, Ranipet by the learned Additional Advocate General is also served on the learned counsel for the petitioner. On perusing the same, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the court bundle.
3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 16.11.2022 Index: Yes/ No Speaking Order/Non-speaking Order sr 2/4
