ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R. MAHADEVAN, J.) For the alleged disobedience of the order of this court dated 25.08.2022, passed in W.P.No.21470 of 2021, the present contempt petition came to be filed by the petitioner.

2. When this Contempt Petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submitted that the order passed by this Court dated 25.08.2022 in W.P.No.21470 of 2021 has been complied with. In support of the same, he has produced a copy of the letter bearing No.BCI:D:201/2024, dated 12.01.2024 sent by the respondent-Bar Council of India, addressed to the petitioner, wherein, it is inter alia stated as follows: "I am pleased to inform you that the General Council of the Bar Council of India has under Removal Proceeding No.17/2003 in the matter of Ms.L.Deepa thoroughly reviewed the Sub-Committee's Report dated 06.01.2024, which considered the Order dated 25.08.2022 from the Hon'ble High Court of Madras in Writ Petition (Civil) No.21470 of 2021, along with your representation dated 08.08.2019.

In the interest of Justice, the General Council has decided to upload your representation and consequently, the suspension order dated 04.07.2018, passed by the Enrolment Committee of the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu, has been set aside.
