2. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner in the revision, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

3. It is seen that the defendants have filed a written statement as early as March 2023 and however, the suit is still at the stage of framing issues.

4. In the light of the above, the present civil revision petition is allowed with a direction to the learned Sub Judge, Mettur to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.337 of 2022 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
