ORDER

The petitioner/wife seeks transfer of O.S.No.67 of 2024 pending on the file of the Family Court at Puducherry to the file of the Family Court at Tiruvallur.

2. Despite service of notice, the respondent/husband, has not chosen to appear before this Court either in person or through counsel. The respondent is called and set exparte.

3. The petitioner claims that she works at the District Collectorate Office at Tiruvallur and it would be inconvenient for her to attend the proceedings before the Family Court, Puducherry, which is more than 200 Kilometers away from her place of residence.

4. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and I am satisfied with the reasons stated by the petitioner in the affidavit filed in support of this transfer application.

5. In fine, as the petitioner/wife has made out a prima facie case for transfer, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the Page No.2 of 4

case in O.S.No.67 of 2024 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the Family Court at Puducherry and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Tiruvallur. There shall be no order as to costs.
