(Judgment of the Court was delivered by V.M.VELUMANI,J.) The respondent/husband filed M.O.P.No.187 of 2016 on the file of the Family Court, Puducherry under Section 13 (i-b) and 13 (ii) of the 1/4

Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, for dissolving the marriage solemnized between the appellant and respondent that took place on 02.09.2011 and grant divorce on the ground of desertion and change of Religion. 2.The appellant filed counter and denied all the averments made by the respondent in the said M.O.P.No.187 of 2016. 3.By the order dated 03.04.2019, the said M.O.P.No.187 of 2016 was allowed by dissolving the marriage solemnized between the appellant and respondent on 02.09.2011 and by granting divorce. 4.Challenging the said order and decree dated 03.04.2019, made in M.O.P.No.187 of 2016, the appellant / wife has come out with the present appeal.

5.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the appellant as well as the respondent submitted that the matter has been settled between the appellant and respondent, they filed Joint Memo of Compromise dated 18.07.2022 duly signed by the appellant, respondent and their respective counsel, before the Mediator, Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre (TNMCC) attached to 2/4

this Court and prayed for passing of decree in terms of Joint Memo of Compromise.

6.The Joint Memo of Compromise dated 18.07.2022, duly signed by both the appellant as well as respondent and their respective counsel is taken on file and the same is recorded. The learned counsel appearing for the appellant / wife submitted that the appellant / wife received all the articles and a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakhs) from the respondent / husband and nothing survives in the appeal. 7.Recording the Joint Memo of Compromise and the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the appellant as well as the respondent, this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of in terms of Joint Memo of Compromise dated 18.07.2022. The Joint Memo of Compromise dated 18.07.2022 shall form part of the decree. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
