Application No.5309 of 2023 in O.P.No.176 of 2021 N.SATHISH KUMAR.J., This application has been filed seeking to substitute a new Arbitrator in the place of Hon'ble Former Judge of this Court Justice P.Shanmugam to continue the arbitral proceedings as per the order dated 25.06.2021 made in O.P.No.176 of 2021.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing the learned counsel on either side submitted that Justice P.Shanmugam who was appointed as Sole Arbitrator in the matter is no more. This court is also aware of the fact that Justice P.Shanmugam had passed away on 13th December 2022.

In the light of the aforesaid factual position, in the place of Sole Arbitrator Justice P.Shanmugam who is no more, Justice V.Bharathidasan, Former Judge of this Court, No.22,(Old No.L-45), 2nd Main Road, Kamaraj Nagar, Thiruvanmiyur, Chennai 600041 [Cell Nos.9445500224 ] is appointed as Sole Arbitrator. The petitioner shall make necessary reference to the Sole Arbitrator within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
