Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein namely, the Tahsildar, Thiruvallur to issue Individual Patta by sub-dividing the same in favour of the petitioner on the representation in online petition vide No.2021/9005/01/017362/0628 dated 28.06.2021 with regard to the property measuring 01040 sq.mtr (11194 sq.ft) in village Natham Survey No.33/1 vide patta No.850 in Narasamangalam Village vide Registered Settlement Document No.1174/2019 in the office of Sunguvarchatram dated 18.02.2019. ORDER

The petitioner has given an online application on 28.06.2021 vide No.2021/9005/01/017362/0628 seeking measurement of the property of the petitioner which is situated in Village Natham Survey No.33/1 in Patta No.850 in Narasamangalam Village. The petitioner had obtained the said property by a registered Settlement Deed dated 18.02.2019 registered in the Office of the Sunguvarchatram Sub-Registrar as Document No.1174 of 2019. 2.It had been complained that no action had been taken on the said online application. Therefore, the petitioner had come forward by filing the present Writ Petition.

3.Without examining or going deeply into the merits of the case, a mandamus is issued to the Tahsildar, Thiruvallur Taluk, to examine the representation / application of the petitioner herein, hear the petitioner, examine the revenue records of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

holding of the petitioner and thereafter if the records are in order proceed to comply with the online application vide No.2021/9005/01/017362/0628 dated 28.06.2021. At any rate, the entire exercise should be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above said observations, the Writ Petition is allowed. No costs.
