Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to include the petitioner's name in the Selection List of Assistant Communicated in the Memo No:146516/ 910/05/2/97-10 dated 18.08.1997, 15.09.1997, or in the list communicated by the first respondent dated 27.01.1999 made in Memo No:067725/212/OS2/98-17 or in the panel communicated in the year 2000 and place the petitioner in the Seniority List of Assistant Administration at the appropriate place taking in to account his date of joining as Junior Assistant on 19.10.1995 and the special qualification acquired in May 1997 and as represented by him in representation dated 14.08.1997 with the reminders 08.07.2019 and as forwarded by the Superintending Engineer in his letter No:004983/niA/niB1/u1/ko.vn/2019 dated nil/07/2019 singed on 10.07.2019 and latest representation dated 26.02.2021.

ORDER
The petitioner has joined as Junior Assistant with the respondents TANGEDCO on 19.10.1995. The petitioner also
completed and cleared the Department Examinations. However, it appears that the petitioner's name was not considered for being promoted to the next post i.e., Assistant (Administration).
2. The petitioner claims to have sent several representations for considering his name in the year 1997 batch. It is the case of the petitioner that many of his juniors were given promotion and the petitioner's name was considered only in the promotion panel on 07.10.2001. Under these circumstances, the petitioner sent several representations from 2001 up to 2017.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Superintending Engineer of the respondents department has also forwarded the copy of the representation of the petitioner on 08.07.2019. However, till date no orders have been passed. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner will be satisfied if the petitioner's representations are duly considered and appropriate orders are passed in accordance with law.
4. The learned standing counsel for the respondents submits that appropriate orders will be passed within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands allowed by directing the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the various representations of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that the petitioner shall be heard by the first respondent before passing such Order. No costs.
