O R D E R
The petitioner / wife seeks transfer of OP.No.2225 of 2021 pending on the file of the VII-Additional Family Court, Chennai to the Family Court, Tiruchirapalli. Transfer is sought for solely on the ground of convenience.
2.Mr.Wilson, learned counsel appearing for the respondent / husband would submit that if the Original Petition is transferred to the Family court, Tiruchirapalli, he will be forced to appear before the Family Court in person for every hearing, which will cause more inconvenience and hardship to him.
3.Considering the same, I am of the opinion that the Original Petition could be transferred to the Principal SubCourt, Tiruchirapalli, which is also empowered to deal with matrimonial matters.

4.In view of the above, OP.No.2225 of 2021 on the file of the VII-Additional Family Court, Chennai is withdrawn and transferred to the Principal Sub-Court, Tiruchirapalli. The Principal Sub-court is required to dispose of the original petition within a period of one year from the date of receipt of the papers from the Family Court at Chennai.
5.This transfer civil miscellaneous petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. s/d- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub-Assistant Registrar kkn To:- 1.The VII-Additional Judge Family Court, Chennai.
