O R D E R

Regarding a complaint in respect of managing wakf property, the petition has been received by the respondent police and pursuant to that, the petitioner herein been called for enquiry. Apprehending harassment in the hands of the respondent police, the present petition is filed seeking protection.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police on instructions from the Investigating Officer states that based on the complaint, the petitioner was called for an enquiry, but she has not cooperated with the enquiry. Unless she cooperates with the enquiry, the Investigating Officer cannot proceed with the investigation of the complaint which is serious nature of grabbing the wakf property.

3. In the light of above submissions, the petitioner is directed to appear before the Investigating Officer on summons and participates in the enquiry and produce all the documents related to the property in dispute. On such cooperation, the respondent police shall proceed in accordance with law.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
