By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner would state that he applied and was selected on 27.1.2010, for the post of Conductor by the second respondent and was called for the skill test and interview on 5.2.2010, and thereafter, he was not informed of it's result and he belongs to OBC Community and once again, selection to the post of Drivers and Conductors was held during 2010, and he had also participated in the same and thereafter, a selection list of 138 candidates was released by the second respondent on 11.3.2010, and the name of the petitioner appeared in Serial No.15; however, no appointment orders have been issued to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
selected candidates.
3.The grievance expressed by the petitioner, is that though some of the candidates, who have participated in the selection process held during 2005, 2008 and 2010, have been given appointment, his name has not been considered so far, in spite of his meritorious performance, and in this regard, he has also submitted a representation dated 30.9.2015, to the second respondent and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.
4.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.Syed Mustafa, learned Special Government Pleader (Pondy), who accepted notice on behalf of the first respondent, and Mr.A.R.Nixon, learned Standing Counsel, who accepted notice on behalf of the second respondent. 5.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.9.2015, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders thereon within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
