O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 24.02.2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. On a complaint lodged by this petitioner against her husband, a petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.10 of 2014 before the respondent herein. This Court by order dated 24.07.2014 referred the parties to the Tamil Nadu Mediation Centre for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

bringing out an amicable settlement. The Mediation Centre have sent a failure report dated 10.03.2015.

4. Under such circumstances, the respondent police is directed to conduct the enquiry expeditiously and take action in accordance with law as laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari Vs Government of Uttarpradesh and Others - [2014] 2 SCC 1. With the above direction, this petition is closed.
