27.04.2018 of the petitioner to ensure proper action in the matter and take measures to ban Popular Front of India, an extremist and militant Islamic fundamentalist organisaion, to promote peace and harmony within the religions in the national interest.

(Made by Ms.Indira Banerjee, Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed seeking directions on the concerned authorities to consider the representation dated 27.04.2018 of the petitioner and to take measures to ban Popular Front of India, which, according to the petitioner, is an extremist and militant Islamic fundamentalist organisation. 2.It is not for this Court to decide which organisations should be banned and which organisations might continue. That is in the realm of the Executive powers of the State. The writ petition is, thus, not entertained and the same is dismissed. No costs.
