Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to G.O. (Ms). No. 59, Law (Administration Department) dated 28.02.2019 issued by the Respondent and quash the same as arbitrary, illegal and consequentially direct the Respondent to consider the candidature of the Petitioner for appointment as Notary within the city of Chennai.

In compliance of the earlier order dated 21.06.2019 passed by this Court, the Respondent has produced a copy of the letter No. 8620/Admn/2019-1 dated 27.06.2019 sent to the Petitioner informing the reasons for not having appointed him as Notary Public in the impugned selection. The Petitioner, who has appeared party-in-person, on receipt of the said letter, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to file comprehensive Writ Petition after impleading all necessary parties for necessary relief and he has made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn granting such liberty. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
