The daughter who is living in Philipines after three months of the alleged missing of her mother, has given a complaint to the police on 16.05.2024 and now before the Court seeking transfer of investigation. 1/4

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police on instructions from the Investigating Officer states that on receipt of the complaint of missing woman, the respondent police has registered a case and investigating the matter. The CD or details so far collected indicates that the missing lady has switched of her mobile phone and also there is also a medical history of mental imbalance.

3. In the light of the above fact, this Court is of the view that there is no necessity to transfer the investigation, when the investigation by the respondent is going on the right direction. The respondent police is directed to intensify the investigation, collecting the bank details and other money transaction of the missing woman so as to trace the trail of missing person and ascertain the whereabouts of her.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
