This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the to the second respondent to grant adequate police protection to put up a compound wall to the 40,000 sq.ft of vacant land of the property comprised in TS No.23 in Kamaraj Nagar, ZaminPallavaram, Chennai in pursuant to the complaint dated 14.03.2017.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that when he wanted to erect the compound wall in his property, the same is prevented by the anti-social elements.

3. In a dispute of this nature, a direction to the respondent police to grant police protection cannot be granted. Hence, this petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Civil Court and work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
