ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.R.Chandrasekaran, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate for respondent Nos.1 and 3 and Mr.M.Vijayan, learned counsel for respondent No.2.

2. The petitioner is seeking direction to respondent Nos.2 and 4 to consider and pass orders on his representation dated 29.05.2019 to permit him to do the renovation work in the house in Old Survey No.35/3, New Survey No.535/5B situated at II/345, Dr.Ambedkar Nagar, Wellington, Coonoor Taluk, Nilgiris District.

3. The learned counsel for respondent No.2 states that respondent No.2 is the competent authority to consider the said representation. He states that respondent No.2 will consider the representation of the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of matter, we direct respondent No.2 i.e., the Chief Executive Officer, Cantonment Board, Wellington, Coonoor, Nilgiris District, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.05.2019, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all concerned.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
