ORDER
It is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that after petition was filed, about three witnesses were examined by the prosecution before the Special Court for NDPS Act Cases, Coimbatore, in C.C.No. 161 of 2012.
2. The learned counsel submits that the accused is lodged in central prison, Puzhal and he is being taken to Coimbatore for every hearing. It is submitted that on account of this transit, the trial is getting delayed and prays that the prisoner could be lodged in any prison in Coimbatore, so that there will not be any delay in producing him before the Special Court for NDPS Act Cases, Coimbatore.
3. This Court records the submissions and directs the Special Court for NDPS Act Cases, Coimbatore, to look into this aspect and take appropriate action by addressing to the Superintendent of prison, Coimbatore and Superintendent of prison, Puzhal for examining the feasibility of lodging the prisoner in Coimbatore jail. The trial Court is directed to get along with the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
examination of the witnesses and complete the same within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
