The prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is to call for the records relating to the impugned orders passed by 2nd respondent dated 20.05.2019 made in Rc.No.A2/8054/2019 CPO;208/2019 "C" list for promotion for 2019 and consequential order dated 30.05.2019 made in proceedings Na.Ka.No.A2/8054/2019, quash the same and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to include the petitioner in the "C" list for promotion for the Post of Sub Inspector of Police for 2019 by considering petitioner's representation dated 28.05.2019 to the 2nd respondent.

2.The petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition challenging the orders passed by 2nd respondent dated 20.05.2019 made in Rc.No.A2/8054/2019 CPO;208/2019 and consequential order dated 30.05.2019 made in proceedings Na.Ka.No.A2/8054/2019 and further direct the 2nd respondent to include the petitioner in the "C" list for promotion for the Post of Sub Inspector of Police for 2019 by considering petitioner's representation dated 28.05.2019 to the 2nd respondent.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that it would be suffice to issue direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner within the stipulated time.
4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is not interfering with the petitioner's representation dated 28.05.2019 to the 2nd respondent and further I am inclined to issue direction to the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 28.05.2019 to the 2nd respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
