ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the Court of Fast Track III, Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai to expedite the trial proceeding in connection with C.C.No.812 of 2020 and conclude the same within a time frame by this Court. 2.It is the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the matter got dragged and the second and third respondents are purposely delaying the trial. Hence, he seeks to dispose of the main case as expeditiously as possible.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.
4. On perusal of the docket order, it appears that the accused were not appearing before the Trial Court and the case has been protracted from 15.04.2020 without any valid reasons. Such view of the matter, there shall 2/4
be a direction to the Court of Fast Track III, Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai to expedite the trial and dispose of the main case in C.C.No.812 of 2020 on merits within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
