ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.A.Palaniappan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader, for respondents 1 to 5.

2. Prayer is made to direct the second respondent to decide the representation given by the petitioner on 10.03.2023. The petitioner alleges destruction of the distributory channels from the subject writ lands.

3. In case representation is given by the petitioner to the second respondent and if the second respondent is competent to decide the same, then the second respondent shall take decision on the representation given by the petitioner, expeditiously, on its own merits and in accordance with law, of course,

after giving notice to those who would be affected by the decision.

4. The writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, WMP Nos.28257 and 28258 of 2023 are closed. (S.V.G., CJ.)
