COMMON ORDER Petitioners have filed these writ petitions seeking for a direction to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 08.10.2015 and pass orders. 2.It is the case of the petitioners that their relatives viz., mother and sister respectively, had been running the bars attached to Shop No.8881 situated at No.41/43, Kamarajar Salai, Manali, Chennai and Shop No.8831 situated at No.30-A, Annai Velankanni Nagar, Palpannai Road, Madhavaram, Chennai - 60 respectively. While so, tender was invited by the second respondent for the year 2015-2016. The grievance of the petitioners is that though they have obtained No Objection Certificates from the land owners, they could not submit the bid as the upset price fixed by the second respondent was far higher than what is prescribed under Condition No.2.

Hence they have made representations dated 08.10.2015 to the second respondent. Since no orders have been passed on the said representations, the petitioners have filed these writ petitions. 3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondents.

4.Considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioners, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 08.10.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity to the petitioners, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
