ORDER

Seeking a direction to the first respondent to release the lorry bearing Regn. No.TN 21 M 6199 which was seized on 11.10.2015 by the second respondent, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

2.It is the case of the petitioner that he is the owner of the lorry bearing Regn. No.TN 21 M 6199 and using the same for agricultural purposes. While so, on 11.10.2015, the second https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent intercepted and seized the vehicle for transporting the gravel mud illegally. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 11.10.2015 for release of the vehicle. Since the said representation has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.10.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
