Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to carry out patta transfer in the names of the Petitioners for an extent of 4905 sq.ft in Survey No.6/3A, in Aalappakkam Village, Chengalpet Taluk, Kancheepuram District within the Sub Registration District of Chengalpet join-I and Registration District of Chengalpet. Mr.Era.Premnath, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to carry out patta transfer in their names measuring an extent of 4905 sq.ft in Survey No.6/3A, in Aalappakkam Village, Chengalpet Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that inspite of the petitioners' application dated 13.02.2017, the respondent has not passed any order so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Mr.Era. Premnath, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondent submitted that the first respondent may be directed to consider the petitioners' application dated 13.02.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioners' application dated 13.02.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
