and survey No.187/8B measuring an extent of 0.10.00 situated in Olaipadi village, Keezhpennathur Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, based on petitioner's application dated 14.09.2024 vide E-Challan dated 13.09.2024 within a time fixed by this Court. This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 3 and 4 to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 13.09.2024 wherein the petitioner has sought for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.
2. Heard Mr.G.Murali, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.
3. The petitioner is relying upon two release deeds dated 25.04.2014 and 01.03.2023. The petitioner is also relying upon the patta No.656 and patta No.1842, which stand in the name of the petitioner. The 2/4
petitioner wanted a survey to be conducted in the subject property for demarcation of boundaries. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents 3 and 4 to act upon the online application submitted by the petitioner on 14.09.2024 and conduct survey based on the title deeds and pattas that stand in the name of the petitioner. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any rival claims, such survey shall be conducted in their presence.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
