Respondents PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to apply the rule of reservation as contemplated under Article 243D of the Constitution of India, 1950, in the Sevaganapalli Panchayat, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District for the ensuing Panchayat Election for the post of Member/President to be held in the year 2016.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The learned Special Government Pleader has produced before us the Notification regarding Reservation of Seats of Wards of Panchayat Union Councils and Territorial Wards of District Panchayats.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has produced before us a chart giving the nine constituencies, two of which are reserved for SC/ST. Thus, the only question is whether three of these nine are reserved for women, with one for SC/ST women. On verification, it is found as under: S.No.
