Advocate (Crl.Side) COMMON ORDER These Criminal Original Petitions are filed by the accused seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Pollachi to dispose of his bail petitions expeditiously which are pending since 19.03.2024. 1/4

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that the petitioner, who is involved in house breaking and theft for nearly 18 cases, was secured under P.T. warrant in these four cases on 12.02.2024 and therefore, the trial in these four cases are commenced. At this juncture the petitioner has filed bail petitions in all four cases and the same are under consideration before the Judicial Magistrate.

The case status furnished along with four cases indicates that the bail petitions been adjourned from time to time, but till date no order passed. Since the bail petitions are pending for nearly 3 months, the Judicial Magistrate is hereby directed to dispose of the bail petitions on merits within a period of 7 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, these Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
