This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent herein to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.1878/2012 on the file of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that the case of the prosecution is that the accused has committed an offence of chain snatching wearing helmet and investigation is still in progress to find out the offenders.

4. In a case of this nature, no positive direction can be given to the respondent police in a time bound manner. However, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible.
