The petitioner, who was remanded to judicial custody on 06.05.2024 for an alleged offence punishable under Sections 12(1)(b), 12(2) of Passport Act r/w 420, 468 and 471 IPC in Crime No.87 of 2023, seeks bail.
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that he is ready to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.
3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that, petitioner altered the Government documents in order to send 1st accused to Malaysia. Petitioner herein accompanying with the travel agency, created forged Government documents. The date of birth was also altered in the document. Based on the confession of 1st accused, the petitioner has been implicated. The investigation in this case is not completed. gd 4.Considering the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that the investigation in this case is not completed and this is a case of fabrication of Government documents, this Court is of the view that this matter needs detailed investigation and therefore, is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
