their nominees in respect of land situate in Old Survey No.118/1-2.14, New Survey No.147/1 measuring about 1 acre 82 2/3 cents out of 2 acre 14 cents with specific boundaries in Vanur Village, Kottakuppam Panchayat, Villupuram District.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the proceedings issued in petition No.16 of 2019, dated 29.05.2019, on the file of the first respondent, thereby rejected the objections raised by the petitioner in respect of the property comprised in old Survey No.118/12.14, new Survey No.147/1 situated at Vanur Village, Kottakuppam Panchayat, Villupuram District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner can very well raise objections under Rules 54 and 55 of the Tamil Nadu Registration Rules at the time of presentation of document for registration. After rejection of the

objections raised by the petitioner, no documents has been presented for registration in respect of the subject property, by any party.

4. Therefore, if any deed of conveyance is presented for registration in respect of the subject property, the petitioner can very well raise objections before the Registering Authority. On receipt of the such objections, the Registering Authority is directed to conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
