ORDER
With the consent of learned counsel on either side, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

The Writ Petition is filed seeking a mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.08.2020 and pass necessary orders.

It is the case of the petitioner that more than 100 small industries are functioning in TANSIDCO Industrial Estate, Hosur. Now, the second respondent has decided to convert a portion of the land into housing units. The grievance of the petitioner is that if housing units are formed in TANSIDCO, the industrialists would be put to irreparable hardship and would find it difficult to run the industries. Hence, the petitionerAssociation has made a representation dated 20.08.2020 to the second respondent, requesting them to convert the remaining land into industrial land. However, the fourth respondent has taken steps to develop the said land into house sites. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 and 5 and the learned counsel for the respondents 2 and 4 and perused the materials available on record. 5.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.08.2020, enquire into the same and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the persons interested in this regard and by affording them an opportunity of personal hearing or virtual hearing or otherwise considering their written objections and after verifying the relevant documents, on or before 30.11.2020.
6. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
