O R D E R

The present Writ Petition is filed for a direction to the first respondent to settle the backwages, pension and other terminal benefits to the Writ Petitioner for the services rendered by him with the first respondent Metropolitan Transport Corporation Chennai Ltd.

2. The learned counsel for the Writ Petitioner states that on account of the pendency of the Writ Appeal No. 2090 of 2018, the respondents have not settled the terminal pensionary benefits to the petitioner. However, the Writ Appeal was disposed of on 26.09.2018.

3. In view of the fact that the Writ Appeal was already disposed of by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court on 26.09.2018, the case of the Writ Petitioner shall be considered with reference to the service records and accordingly, dues https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

shall be settled. In this regard, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the Writ Petitioner dated 25.06.2015 and reminder on 23.09.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petitioner is directed to enclose the representations and all other relevant orders if any along with the orders passed in the present Writ Petition.
