The petitioners' purchased the property at Su.Duraisamy Nagar Layout, Plot No.132, Rakiyapalayam Village comprised in Survey Nos.391/2, 391/1A, 392/2 to an extent of 27 cents by a sale deed dated 27.11.1991. After getting plan approval on 10.01.1992 from the second respondent, the petitioners constructed house after getting electricity service connection. However, the property has not been assessed to property fax by the second respondent and therefore the petitioners made representation on 25.04.2016 and the same was received by the second respondent on 26.04.2016. 2. Heard Mr.P.Kannankumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, Mr.Rm.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and Mr.P.Karthikeyan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent.

3. Taking into consideration the representation given by the petitioners with regard to the assessment of the property tax to their building, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioners and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
