(delivered by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI,J.,) Mrs.N.Mala, learned Additional Government Pleader (Puducherry) accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. With the consent of the learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal, at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner, claiming to be belonging to Hindu Adi Dravida Community, submitted an application to the respondent seeking such community certificate to his daughter viz., Nivetha. Pursuant to the petitioner's said application, an enquiry was conducted on 15 December, 2014 and the same is still pending consideration, without any decision or response. Hence, this writ petition for a direction to the respondent, to conclude the enquiry in No.6879/TOV/A1/2014 and pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law and on its own merit. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. Mrs.N.Mala, learned Additional Government Pleader (Puducherry) appearing for the respondent submits that on examination of all relevant materials placed before the authority, appropriate orders will be passed on the petitioner's application, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks.
4. In view of the abovesaid submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, it is ordered accordingly.
5. The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observation. No costs.
