Prayer:- Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the 2nd respondent Police to register FIR on the complaint dated 12.05.2014 given by the petitioner against (1)M.Samundeeshwari W/o.T.Thangaiah Pandian, No.20, Chinna Babu Street, Namalwarpet, Chennai 600 012 (2)E. Radhakrishanan, New No.18, Old NO.7/4 Manickam Mastri Street, Royapettah, Chennai 600 014 and investigate the matter and file a report within a stipulated time.

ORDER
The petitioner/complainant has lodged a complaint dated 12.05.2014 to the respondent police alleging that two persons claiming to be the Official of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, had taken Rs.15,00,000/- from the petitioner/complainant for getting job. The said complaint has been perfunctorily closed by the respondent police stating that the opposite party has given a cheque to the petitioner.
2.Under these circumstances, this Court directs the respondent No.1, to conduct thorough enquiry on the complaint given by the petitioner and during the course of enquiry, if any congnizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh & Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
