Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records of the impugned orders passed by the first respondent in Circular No.7/2014 RC 17933/2013 PACSI dated 28.2.2014 and quash the same as illegal.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed challenging the Circular issued by the Registrar of Co-operative Societies in proceedings dated 28.2.2014. The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner, states that the Society is not maintaining adequate funds to settle the pensionary and retirement benefits of the retired employees of the Co-operative Societies. of pensionary and retirement benefits issued by the Registrar is in accordance with the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Registration of Co-operative Societies Act and there is no infirmity as such. Further, even in the counter, it is stated by the Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies that the grievance of the writ petitioner has already been redressed. Therefore, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
