PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondents to issue necessary instructions to all the Regional Transport Offices to receive the stoppage forms in terms of Rule 172(6) of the Tamil Nadu Motor Vehicles Rules forthwith from the petitioner Association members by condoning the delay if any thereby pass nil assessment tax order in compliance of this Court in W.P.No.9211 of 2020 in common order dated 12.10.2020 and consequently restraining the Respondents from in any way insisting for payment of Motor Vehicle Tax such as Road Tax, Green Tax etc., and other fees, charges payable towards the vehicles belonging to the Educational Institutions of petitioner Association for the period of lockdown till Schools and Colleges are allowed to be re-opened for Physical classes as such they are not plying the vehicles virtue of lockdown.
