C.M.P. Nos. 11300, 11305 & 11311 of 2020 in C.M.A. SR Nos. 27386, 27388 & 27387 of 2020 V.BHARATHIDASAN, J.

These Civil Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed seeking to extend the time given by this Court dated 17.03.2020 to pay the balance court fee of Rs.4,623/- in C.M.A. SR. No.27386 of 2020; to pay the balance court fee of Rs.18,543/- in C.M.A. SR. No.27388 of 2020; and to pay the balance court fee of Rs.16,148/- in C.M.A. SR. No.27387 of 2020.

2. The petitioners are claimants and they have filed the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeals seeking enhancement of compensation. Along with that, they have filed the Civil Miscellaneous Petitions seeking to exempt from paying court fee in C.M.P. Nos. 6180, 6183 and 6185 of 2020, and this Court by an order dated 17.03.2020 has dismissed the petitions, however, this Court granted three weeks time to pay the court fee from the date of receipt of the order. Since the petitioners are not in a position to pay the court fee within a time fixed by this Court, the present Civil Miscellaneous Petitions have been filed seeking extension of time. http://www.judis.nic.in 1/2

3. The learned counsel appearing for petitioners would submit that the petitioners are claimants and the insurance company is yet to deposit the award amount. Due to pandemic, the petitioners are not in a position to pay the court fee within the time fixed by this Court. Hence, he seeks three more weeks time.

4. I have considered submissions and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances, the time granted by this Court by an order dated 17.03.2020 is extended for four more weeks from today.
