ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to transfer the patta for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition in Page No.1 of 4

the name of the petitioner, based on his application dated 26.09.2022 bearing Application No.994, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. According to the petitioner, despite the aforesaid application submitted with the respondent, till date, patta has not been transferred in his name. According to the petitioner, even though summons was issued to the petitioner and survey was also conducted, no further steps have been taken by the respondent in respect of his application seeking transfer of patta in his name. Only under those circumstances, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

4. The petitioner has filed supporting documents along with this writ petition in support of his application seeking transfer of patta in his favour for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the same.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondent, if the petitioner's application as stated supra is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, Page No.2 of 4

after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's application.

For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's application, dated 26.09.2022 bearing Appliation No.994 seeking transfer of patta in his name for the property morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
