ORDER

Mr.S.K.Rameshuwar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider and dispose of his representation dated 05.07.2017 for grant of three-phase electricity connection to the property at No.1/373, Moogambikai Kovil Street, Vandalur Village, Kanchipuram District.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2017 for providing three-phase electricity connection, the 1st respondent has not passed any order so far.

4. Mr.S.K.Rameshuwar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation for providing three-phase electricity connection, in accordance with law, if the application is in order. 5.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.07.2017 for the grant of three-phase electricity connection and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
