ORDER
The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b) (ii) (B) and 29(1) of NDPS Act, 1985, in Crime No.64 of 2026, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. According to prosecution, the respondent Police has recovered 1.450 Kgs Ganja from the present petitioner / A2, on the confession statement of A1.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent Police would submit that one previous case which is similar in nature, is pending against the petitioner and if the petitioner is released on Anticipatory bail, he may involve in many similar type of offence.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate, this Court does not find any ground to grant Anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, the present Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 24-04-2026 vum Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order To
