Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to appoint the petitioner for the post of Village Assistant at Kattur or any other existing vacancy based on the written examination dated 15.09.2015 in view of the recruitment notification dated 03.09.2015 made in Na.Ka.NO.A3.8143/2015 issued by the respondent. ORDER

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner, in pursuant to the notification issued by the respondent dated 03.09.2015, has submitted an application for the post of Village Assistant. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that though he has participated in the selection process and after qualifying in the written examination, has also participated in the interview and the result of the same, is yet to be made known to him so far. In this regard, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 01.10.2015 to the respondent and since no orders have been passed, the petitioner came forward to file this writ petition.

This Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.

Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner either in the representation or in this writ petition, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 01.10.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.

The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
