ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent Police to register the complaint filed by the petitioner dated 28.01.2015 and to give police protection to the petitioner Company, its Chairman, Managing Director, Directors, Officials, Employees and Workmen, and to protect their life and liberty and safety of their assets, the petitioner has come up with this petition. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent and perused the material placed on record.

3.It is seen that the petitioner has lodged a complaint to the repondent police and sent a copy of the complaint to the Commissioner of Police, Chennai City, by Speed Post, seeking for protection. This petition is closed, with a liberty to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner to approach the jurisdictional police and lodged a complaint and on such complaint, the respondent police is directed to conduct enquiry and during the course of enquiry, if any congnizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh & Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
