This petition is filed to condone the delay of 73 days in filing the above Civil Miscellaneous Appeal before this Honble High Court against the order dated 15.06.2022 made in MCOP.No.94 of 2020 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal/Special District Judge, Salem. 2.There is no appearance for the respondents 1, 2, 4 and 5. 3.Mr.K.Vinod, learned counsel takes notice for the third respondent and Dr.C.Paranthaman, learned counsel takes notice for the sixth respondent. 4.Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed and the Registry is directed to number the above C.M.A.SR.No.68260 of 2023, if the papers are otherwise in order.
4.In the eventuality of the petitioner succeeding in the appeal, interest may have to be reckoned only from the date on which the Registry takes the appeal on record.
